Mother Me

By Virronica Dixson

My mother, oh yes my Mommy sure does she mother me.

She is so sweet and so kind. Her hugs and kisses are absolutely divine.

She walks with absolute grace, just for me by God she was placed.

She teaches me right from wrong, showing me how to be strong.

Mommy teaches me how to love one another and

to always be nice to my baby brother.

My Mommy is my true angel on earth.

She cared for me even before my birth.

Rubbing her belly and singing sweet songs, always praying the world would do me no wrong.

She takes good care of me, my safety she will always be.

My mother, oh yes, my Mommy mothers me.

I’m now a mother, can you believe it! A mother, that’s me!

Married with children, two boys and a girl, I cannot believe this, the

feeling so surreal.

I never knew a love so deep and so true, until those three beautiful babies and the day I said “I do.”

They make me feel so loved, comparable only to that of God above.

To live out their dreams is what I desire, every one of them I pray they acquire.

Three heartbeats outside my body, the best of me are what they embody.

I’m now a mother, can you believe it!

A mother, that’s me!

Mother me.

Now who is going to mother me?

Virginia Dare Hale, that was her name.

My life without her would never be the same.

She made a wrong world right, giving me the best incite.

Whether in the sunshine or rain, her demeanor never changed.

She was the worlds greatest mother, for me, there is no other.

Living life without her leaves a hole in my heart.

Every day I wish she never had to part.

Mother me. Now who is going to mother me?
